was realized in years 1998 – 2000 under the title ”Děčín – Regional Fauna
Exhibit”. It was festively opened for public on 31 August 2000 and several dozens of unique species were presented in
the area of 1,25 hectares.
Visitors can see beasts of prey (lynx, fox, wild cat, marten, wolf), rare grouse birds (capercaillie, black grouse, hazel hen), birds of prey (peregrine falcon, hobby, honey buzzard), owls (eagle-owl, barn owl, pygmy owl, Tengmalm’s owl), as well as some amphibians and songbirds and some species of ungulates here. An educational trail is a part of the exhibit. The trail is made of tri-lingual information boards, thematically focused on the Czech-Saxon Switzerland nature as well as on the way how this area has been influenced by people. The trail also includes some models of folk buildings and monuments. Copyright 2001, Design New Space, spol. s r.o. | ||||||||
